Welcome!
this template is for cute newspaper style pages... i use it as a site update archive, but you can write fake newspapers for whatever you want!
to your right (or below, if you're on mobile), is a sample version of the kind of stuff you can write on a page like this!
how to use
i wrote comments all over the html and css so hopefully you can figure it out from there! it's a bit more complicated than my past templates, but i believe in you.
i included a link back to my site in the footer, but crediting me is not necessary. i just made this for fun anyway!
sample column

you can have an image float to the left of your text...

or on the right! just remember that there will be a lot more empty space on mobile since it takes up the full width of the screen...

Local lesbians bake bread

Today's story comes to you from the town of Frosting, here on Mount Sorbet! Mochi the rabbit has baked some delicious melonpan for her two girlfriends, Treat and Moxie.
Mailmouse and part-time food critic weighs in

Our very own Nougat visited Treat's house this afternoon. He had this to say about the melonpan...
"It was scrum-diddly-umptious!"
You heard it here first, folks. Mochi's melonpan sure is a treat to remember!
😎 MOXIE'S WEATHER CORNER~! ☀ 🌤 🌦 ⁉
moxie says it's gonna be SUNNY TODAY! ...what?! it's raining out...?!?! j-just give it a bit okay! it'll be sunshine again, i swear!!!
image filtering process
you can use whatever filter you like on your images, but what i used for this page is GB pic by yunta_robo! (credited in the footer as well)
the page is in japanese, but it's not hard to figure out.
4 easy steps! wahoo!
- drag and drop an image onto the page. it should be 10:9 ratio, any resolution should work, but it will stretch if it's not 10:9.
- the first slider is contrast, the second slider is the grid (go all the way left to turn it off). the checkbox between these is dithering (checker pattern)
- the third set of 3 sliders is the color filter. i moved them all the way to the right to make a grayscale image.
- take a screenshot when you're happy with it, cuz there's currently no way to save the image in-browser.
and that's it! put em on your site from there! simple!!!
